ABOUT

ADRIAN MEYER is a multidisciplinary digital artist and filmmaker from Germany.
His work focuses on creating moving images to inspire, spark emotional experiences and challenge viewing habits. Using cutting-edge tech he is always striving to push the boundaries of what's possible, and finding the best solutions for each project and creative vision.
With a background in audiovisual installations and immersive media, he is now mainly engaged in visual effects as VFX Supervisor and Houdini Technical Director. He has worked on international XR productions, commercials, music videos and feature films. ​
As a consultant, lecturer, and speaker, he shares his knowledge about XR, VFX and AI through workshops, talks, and mentorings.
Adrian graduated in Computer Animation & Visual Effects at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. His work was internationally screened at numerous festivals such as La Biennale di Venezia, Cannes, Annecy and Siggraph. It received multiple nominations such as the Visual Effects Society Student Award (2x) & the VR Awards, and won prizes like the Ottawa Animation Festival Best VR, New Images Special Jury Prize, La Biennale di Venezia Critics' Award and others. As VFX Supervisor, Adrian recently won the golden LOLA of the German Film Awards for Best Visual Effects in the feature film 'Die Theorie von Allem'.
He is since member of the German Filmakademie (DFA).
